Getting There
ACCOMMODATION
There are a number of hotels between 5 and 10 minutes from Notley Abbey. Click here to go to Bijou's website which lists the local services. Highlights include the 4* hotel Hartwell House, and for the other end of the price scale a Premier Inn in Aylesbury or Travelodge in Thame.

There are 8 bedrooms in Notley Abbey itself, which we have now allocated to the bridal party and our closest family and friends. Apologies if we have not been able to squeeze you in.
TRANSPORTATION
By train: The nearest station is Haddenham & Thame Parkway which is on the Chiltern Railway mainline out of London Marylebone. The journey time is roughly 40 minutes from London. Please note that there will not be a place to store luggage at the venue so you will need to first check in to your hotel and arrange taxis if required for the remainder of the day. Local taxi firms are listed on the Bijou site.

By road: Directions from a variety of locations are given on the Bijou site. If none of these are appropriate, the postcode for your satnav is HP17 8TN. The entrance to Notley Abbey is on the A418 BETWEEN THAME AND AYLESBURY. Please check carefully any SAT NAV instructions which purport to say that Notley Abbey is anywhere else! The postcode has been incorrectly positioned in the past and many SAT NAV systems have incorrect data.
There is sufficient parking at the venue for all of our guests. However, if you are not staying at Notley Abbey you are not permitted to leave your car overnight. Please arrange to use a taxi service or share a ride from your hotel.
Registry
Gifts are strictly optional as we both have everything we need, having lived together and bought our own furniture already. However, we know that some of you may want to get us a gift and for that we are very grateful. Our registry list is held by The Wedding Shop.

If you would like to bring a congratulations card with you on the day there will be a post-box for these. However, we would prefer that all gifts are bought via the registry and that gifts of cash are not given.
